Report: Web 3 financing reached $9.6 billion in the second quarter, with strong performance in private placements and a significant decline in public offerings

ChainCatcher news, according to a report by Outlier Ventures, Web 3 startups raised a total of $9.6 billion in Q2 2025, marking the second highest quarterly amount in history.

Capital is accelerating towards infrastructure projects, with median funding sizes for validator liquidity, Rollups, and computing networks reaching between $70 million and $112 million. Meanwhile, Series A and seed funding rounds are both warming up, private token sales are performing strongly, while public offerings have significantly declined.
