Metaplex's October protocol revenue reached $2 million, with Genesis contributing 18%, setting a new record

Metaplex announced a protocol revenue of $2 million in October, of which $1.1 million was used to repurchase approximately 5.3 million $MPLX (about 0.5% of the total supply). The Genesis protocol contributed 18% of the revenue, marking the highest since its launch. Genesis is designed specifically for token issuance, helping teams successfully complete their token launches. Currently supported projects include DeFiTuna, Portals, Collector Crypt, Pipe Network, Exotic Markets, Play Solana, Goated, Shaga, dm.fun, Beamable Network, and others.

Metaplex dominates 99% of token and NFT creation on Solana, with total protocol revenue exceeding $45 million. 50% of the protocol revenue each month will be used for $MPLX repurchases, and the revenue from October will be used for continued repurchases in November, continuously enhancing token value and ecosystem robustness.
