币安创始人赵长鹏确认申请特朗普特赦

ChainCatcher 消息，据 Cointelegraph 报道，币安创始人赵长鹏在最新播客节目中确认，其律师团队已代表他向美国总统特朗普提交特赦申请。此前，彭博社和华尔街日报曾报道赵长鹏寻求特赦一事，但当时遭其否认。赵长鹏表示，申请特赦的部分原因是受到特朗普此前赦免 BitMEX 创始人的启发。
去年 11 月，赵长鹏因违反《银行保密法》认罪，支付 5000 万美元罚款并被判处 4 个月监禁。根据美国司法部，即使获得特赦，也不会消除其洗钱罪名，但可能允许其重新在 Binance.US 担任管理职务。
