Nodepay: The first round of airdrop will start on January 14

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the decentralized AI infrastructure project Nodepay announced that it will launch its first airdrop on January 14.

According to official documentation, the release of the native token NC has multiple functions: first, it serves as a payment method for network services, allowing users to pay for real-time data acquisition (Node Collect), AI crawlers, search queries (Node Search), and other service fees with NC; second, it provides staking rewards, enabling users to stake NC to validator nodes for earnings; third, it facilitates ecological governance, allowing token holders to participate in proposal voting to decide on partner introductions and incentive mechanisms.

Regarding network fees, although customers and AI companies can pay using tokens like USD, USDC, etc., all revenue will ultimately be converted to NC and distributed proportionally to bandwidth node operators, validators, and other ecosystem participants. To ensure network security, validators must stake NC tokens and will be penalized if malicious behavior is detected.
