Bedrock extends to the Aptos chain, introducing BTCFi assets uniBTC and brBTC

ChainCatcher news, the DeFi multi-asset re-collateralization protocol Bedrock announced today that it will expand to the Aptos chain. This integration will bring Bedrock's flagship BTCFi assets uniBTC and brBTC to Aptos, providing trading and liquidity incentives on Hyperion.

uniBTC and brBTC are now bridgeable to Aptos via the Interport bridge, secured by Chainlink CCIP. This will enable seamless connectivity between Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Aptos. Once the bridging is complete, users can immediately deploy their assets into the Hyperion liquidity pool to start earning yields. A core contributor of Bedrock stated, "With brBTC, Bedrock introduces the concept of BTCFi 2, expanding Bitcoin's role from a passive store of value to a productive asset across multiple ecosystems.
