Previously, he revealed that the token would be used to fund his democratic campaign and redistricting efforts, with proceeds going to support grassroots organizing. Newsom mentioned in a podcast that he would challenge Trump's cryptocurrency project by issuing a meme coin and stated that "Trump Corruption Coin" might perform better than Trump's coin.
