ChainCatcher news, according to the Korea Times, South Korean retail investors have invested over $12 billion in U.S.-listed cryptocurrency-related stocks this year.
Data shows that in August alone, South Korean investors purchased stocks of companies such as Bitmine, Circle Internet Group, and Coinbase, with investments of $426 million, $226 million, and $183 million, respectively. It is noteworthy that despite the significant drop in the prices of related stocks, South Korean investors' enthusiasm for purchasing remains unabated. Analysts point out that the stablecoin legislation in both the U.S. and South Korea provides a favorable backdrop for this round of investment frenzy.
