ChainCatcher 消息，据 News1 報導，韓國京畿南部道警方於 2025 年 8 月 28 日逮捕並起訴了三名涉嫌實施加密貨幣詐騙的嫌疑人，該詐騙案共騙取 129 名受害者約 57 億韓元（410 萬美元）。該團夥被指控在 2023 年 12 月至 2024 年 6 月期間創建了一種名為 GCV 的模因幣。
據稱，他們以亞洲高爾夫球場會員資格的虛假承諾引誘投資者投資該幣。
