ChainCatcher 消息，据金十報導，美聯儲巴爾金表示，鑑於他預計今年餘下時間經濟活動變化不大，利率將進行溫和調整。「我看到經濟在溫和運行。如果經濟溫和運行，這意味著利率也會溫和調整，」他說，「我並不確定經濟會不會真的如此溫和發展。我們得等到那時候再看。所以這是我的預測，但預測可能會改變。」
