도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령의 차남 에릭 트럼프(Eric Trump)가 지난 2월 초 비트코인을 매수하기 좋은 시기라고 언급한 과거 글을 재게시하며 "내 말이 맞았다(You're welcome!)"라고 X를 통해 전했다. BTC는 에릭 트럼프가 언급했을 당시 96,000 달러 대에서 거래됐지만, 그의 언급 약 두 달 이후에는 74,500 달러까지 하락한 바 있다. 코인마켓캡 기준 BTC는 24시간 전 대비 6.08% 오른 108,005.93 달러에 거래되고 있다.
