Ripple CEO: Expects Bitcoin to Rise to $180,000

According to Cryptopolitan, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated at the Binance Blockchain Week event that he predicts Bitcoin will reach $180,000 by the end of 2026. Garlinghouse mentioned that he is more optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency compared to recent years, with the increasingly clear regulatory environment in the U.S. being a major positive factor.

Lily Liu, chair of the Solana Foundation, stated that it would be normal for Bitcoin to reach the $90,000 threshold and that its price is likely to break $100,000. Binance CEO Richard Teng acknowledged recent market volatility but emphasized that the overall trend remains very optimistic. Teng said, "Volatility is not unique to cryptocurrency; it is a characteristic shared by all types of assets… but institutions are entering the market in large numbers. Last year, institutional participation doubled, and this year it has doubled again."
