MoonPay has obtained a limited purpose Trust Charter approved by the New York State regulator NYDFS, allowing it to provide cryptocurrency custody and over-the-counter trading services in New York. MoonPay previously obtained a BitLicense, and currently, only Coinbase, PayPal, Ripple, and NYDIG hold both regulatory licenses.
