Bloomberg: Coinbase plans to acquire stablecoin startup BVNK, expected to be completed by the end of this year or early next year

According to Bloomberg, sources revealed that the American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global Inc. is in late-stage acquisition talks with stablecoin infrastructure startup BVNK, aiming to complete the deal for approximately $2 billion, pending due diligence.

Coinbase's venture capital arm, Coinbase Ventures, is one of the investors in BVNK, and the deal is expected to be finalized later this year or early next year. The terms of the deal may change, and the final transaction could still fall through.
