Payment infrastructure Pieverse launches x402b protocol to enable gasless payments on BNB Chain

ChainCatcher news, Web3 payment and compliance infrastructure startup Pieverse announced the launch of the x402b protocol, extending the x402 protocol through the Pieverse Facilitator to address the no Gas payment and auditing issues on the BNB Chain.

The core improvements of the x402b protocol include: No Gas payment support: Since major stablecoins on the BNB Chain (such as USDT) do not support EIP-3009, Pieverse has launched a 1:1 USDT wrapped token pieUSD, which supports EIP-3009 to achieve a true no Gas payment experience. Users only need to sign a message without paying Gas fees. Auditing and tax support: x402b automatically generates receipts that comply with jurisdictional requirements at the time of payment settlement through a customized Facilitator, and stores them immutably on BNB Greenfield, meeting the auditing and tax needs of businesses and professionals.

Previously, Pieverse completed a $7 million funding round, led by Animoca Brands and UOB Venture.
