ChainCatcher news, according to GlobeNewswire, Nasdaq-listed Helius Medical Technologies announced that it has submitted an amendment to its certificate of incorporation to the Secretary of State of Delaware, officially changing the company's name from "Helius Medical Technologies, Inc." to "Solana Company," but the stock ticker symbol for its Class A common stock, HSDT, will remain unchanged.

In addition, it has signed a non-binding letter of intent with the Solana Foundation to optionally purchase a certain amount of SOL tokens from the foundation at a discounted price.
