ChainCatcher news, according to analyst Emmett Gallic, Plasma has transferred over 1 billion USDT to USDT0 in preparation for the mainnet launch. This will provide immediate massive USDT liquidity on Plasma.

USDT0 is a cross-chain dollar stablecoin launched by Tether, designed to extend USDT to new blockchains, providing a seamless experience for users and developers while maintaining a 1:1 peg with USDT on Ethereum. USDT0 is built using the OFT standard of LayerZero for deploying and transferring assets on new chains.
