Former Symbolic partner Sam Lehman joins Pantera Capital as a junior partner

ChainCatcher news, according to market sources, former Symbolic Capital partner Sam Lehman has joined Pantera Capital as a junior partner.

Lehman stated that Pantera brought him on board due to his expertise in investments at the intersection of cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence. Lehman was recruited shortly after Pantera Capital completed the first round of fundraising for its fifth fund, which has a target fundraising size of $1 billion. Cosmo Jiang, Pantera's general partner and portfolio manager, hinted that a significant portion of the new fund's capital would be allocated to investments in the crypto-AI sector. Lehman will become Pantera's fourth junior partner. The firm also has two managing partners, two general partners, and two partners. Lehman mentioned that he was attracted to Pantera partly because of the opportunity to "be with the company throughout its entire development process, not just in the early stages." He also stated that his decision was influenced by the team he would be working with.
