Synthetix founder: will return to Ethereum mainnet and adopt an off-chain order book

ChainCatcher news, Synthetix and Infinex founder Kain Warwick stated that the Synthetix team is deeply exploring the plan to return to the Ethereum mainnet. The last cycle failed for many reasons, and there are no excuses.

Two years have passed, and the Ethereum mainnet clearly needs a modern, high-performance decentralized exchange for perpetual contracts. Synthetix has returned to its startup state, aiming to rejoin the decentralized exchanges in the EVM ecosystem. The off-chain order book features a batch settlement engine that operates similarly to an optimistic sequencer but keeps all funds on the mainnet. In my opinion, this is the best design for perps today.
