Fold partners with Blackhawk Network to launch Bitcoin gift cards

ChainCatcher news, according to Crowdfund Insider, Fold (NASDAQ: FLD) is partnering with Blackhawk Network to expand the sales reach of Fold's Bitcoin gift cards. The gift cards are currently available through selected online platforms, with plans to add more online retailers in the coming weeks. Additionally, there are plans to introduce them in physical retail stores later this year.

Fold's Bitcoin gift cards were launched in May 2025, allowing consumers to give Bitcoin in a simple and familiar way, without the need for technical knowledge or a crypto wallet. Fold CEO Will Reeves stated, "By offering Bitcoin as a gift card, we provide millions of consumers who have already purchased, sent, and used gift cards with access to Bitcoin."
