The Cardano community approved a development budget of $71 million, focusing on upgrading Hydra and the node architecture

ChainCatcher news, the Cardano community approved a funding allocation of 96 million ADA (approximately 71 million USD) to the core development team Input Output Global (IOG) with a support rate of 74% through governance voting for a critical network upgrade lasting 12 months.

The funds will be disbursed in phases, overseen by the member organization Intersect, focusing on supporting the development of the Layer2 scaling solution Hydra and the node restructuring project Acropolis, aimed at enhancing the developer experience and increasing the demand for ADA tokens.
