Bitlayer releases the latest product roadmap, dedicated to building the ultimate Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure

ChainCatcher news, focusing on Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure, the project Bitlayer has officially released its summer launch event video. The event themed "The Ultimate Bitcoin DeFi Infrastructure" saw project co-founders Kevin He and Charlie Hu systematically disclose Bitlayer's latest technological advancements and detailed product roadmap for the first time, clarifying its goal of building the ultimate BTCFi infrastructure.

According to the information disclosed at the event, key recent advancements by Bitlayer include:

• 1. BitVM Bridge mainnet Beta version launched: After more than six months of internal and public testing, the first Bitcoin cross-chain solution based on the BitVM paradigm, BitVM Bridge mainnet Beta version, has officially launched;
• 2. Release of Bitlayer Network 2.0 white paper: The team has officially released the Bitlayer Network 2.0 white paper, marking the transition of Bitlayer Network into the Rollup architecture phase;
• 3. Bitlayer Network V3 will focus on high-performance execution: The core goal of V3 is to address the high-performance execution challenges of Bitcoin's second-layer network, aiming to achieve: a customizable high-performance native transaction engine, a horizontally scalable clustered system architecture, an EVM-compatible high-performance parallel execution engine, and providing a CEX-level user experience.

As of now, Bitlayer has raised a total of $25 million in funding, with a strong lineup of investors including Polychain Capital, Franklin Templeton, ABCDE, StarkWare, OKX Ventures, Alliance DAO, and UTXO Management, providing a solid foundation for the project's ongoing research and ecological development.
