Threshold launches tBTC on the Sui blockchain

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Threshold Network has launched tBTC on the Sui blockchain. tBTC is an ERC-20 token backed 1:1 by Bitcoin, designed to enhance BTCFi within the Sui ecosystem.

This integration allows users to mint tBTC directly on Sui, potentially adding over $500 million in Bitcoin liquidity to the Sui network, with BTC-supported assets currently accounting for over 10% of the total value locked in the Sui ecosystem.
