ChainCatcher news, the CEO of the blockchain game Battle for Blockchain announced that the on-chain game development company Minters Dev will soon shut down, and its game Battle for Blockchain will officially cease operations after entering maintenance mode for the next 30 days.

The company was founded in 2022 and successfully launched two fully on-chain games on the mainnet, as well as developed multiple products for top cryptocurrency clients. Although Battle for Blockchain attracted over 700 daily active users and had a 7-day retention rate of 48%, the team faced multiple challenges such as funding shortages, technical difficulties, and market competition.

The founder stated that the excessive growth of automated activities in the game led to user attrition and a decline in token prices, creating a vicious cycle, ultimately leaving the team unable to continue operations.
