UniSat: Integrated Alkanes protocol will accelerate the expansion of Bitcoin smart contract boundaries

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, UniSat co-founder Lorenzo recently announced that UniSat has integrated the Alkanes protocol into multiple products and APIs. With its optimized UTXO model and WASM contract framework, it will accelerate the implementation of Bitcoin smart contract capabilities.

Lorenzo stated that the Alkanes architecture is efficient, highly compatible, and has lower development costs than expected. However, challenges such as contract security, asset burning, and performance bottlenecks still exist, and continuous optimization will be needed in the future.

UniSat will continue to promote the development of Alkanes and the brc-20 programmable module, and upgrade the Fractal Bitcoin network to inject more contract vitality into the Bitcoin ecosystem.
