Vana announces the launch of the Genepool DataDAO network, where users can earn points by using genetic data

ChainCatcher news, the decentralized AI data liquidity network Vana has announced the launch of the Genepool DataDAO network, which aims to reclaim ownership of genetic data and fight for genetic sovereignty. It was reported that the well-known American personal genomics company 23andMe had sold personal genetic information to third parties without user consent, sharing anonymized data with pharmaceutical companies for drug research and development. The Genepool DataDAO will gather 23andMe users to collectively decide how to handle user genetic data. Vana will support Genepool DataDAO in its mission to recover data from 23andMe.

It is reported that Genepool DataDAO has launched a program to earn points using genetic data, currently open for pre-mining on the TG App. Any user who connects an EVM wallet to Genepool DataDAO will receive 100,000 Vana points in the TG Mini-App.
