ChainCatcher news, the decentralized data trust protocol Codatta, based on a blockchain collaboration platform, has launched a new paradigm for pathological AI data annotation by leveraging blockchain technology, aiming to build an equitable pathological data ecosystem.

Dr. Daniel Wei, co-founder of DPath.ai, stated that DPath and Codatta will collaborate to provide precise annotations for numerous public pathological slide datasets, making pathological data more valuable, allowing pathological AI to accurately locate and mark lesion areas, and provide diagnostic suggestions, which will improve doctors' work efficiency and diagnostic accuracy.

Previously, the U.S. FDA approved Paige.AI for assisting in the diagnosis of prostate cancer biopsies. To develop powerful and reliable clinical-grade pathological AI for various cancers, a large amount of precisely annotated data from pathologists is required, but the enormous workload faced by pathologists makes this an almost impossible task.
