Gitcoin will launch Gitcoin Grants in August and October.

ChainCatcher news, Gitcoin has launched the Gitcoin donation event Gitcoin Grants 2024 strategy and updates, which points out that due to time constraints, only three rounds of GG competitions will be held in 2024, including:

• GG20 has ended from April 23 to May 7;
• GG21 will be launched from August 7 to 21, with a total of 10 rounds of community activities, no open source software (OSS) rounds, and matching funds of $125,000 for the first 5 rounds of community rounds;
• GG22 is planned to start at the end of October, with specific dates to be announced in the coming weeks, and an open source software OSS program (4 rounds) with a matching fund pool of $1 million.
