The official NEAR X account is suspected to have been hacked, posting tweets with garbled characters.

ChainCatcher news, the official X account of the public chain project NEAR Protocol is suspected to have been hacked. Currently, its profile picture on the X platform has been changed to a solid black image, and the personal bio has been altered to the garbled character "Dark". At around 4 AM, it posted four strange tweets with garbled characters, which are "re claim your sovereig nty", "darkness", "take back your", and "The sun rises in the east".

So far, other official social media channels of NEAR have not provided any explanation.
