Three American sports stars have agreed to pay $2.42 million to settle allegations of helping to promote Voyager Digital.

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, three prominent American sports celebrities have agreed to jointly pay $2.42 million to settle allegations that they helped promote Voyager Digital.

According to a class action settlement agreement filed on May 3, retired NFL star Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski will pay the largest share of $1.9 million, NBA player Victor Oladipo will pay $500,000, and NASCAR driver Landon Cassill will pay $25,000. All three sports stars have agreed to the settlement without admitting or denying any allegations.

Additionally, the proposed settlement includes all U.S. individuals who purchased Voyager Earn Program accounts or VGX tokens from October 2019 to the preliminary approval date. In addition to approving the $2.4 million settlement, the plaintiffs also plan to request approximately $792,000 in attorney fees.
