ChainCatcher News, Bank of America has been selected to provide reserve custody services for Anchorage Digital Bank's payment stablecoin.

Anchorage Digital Bank is the only federally chartered crypto-native bank in the United States, operating under the direct supervision of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Anchorage Digital Bank launched its stablecoin issuance platform in July 2025, immediately after the passage of the GENIUS Act. These stablecoins comply with the provisions of the GENIUS Act and are supported by robust Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering programs.
