FormAI is creating a decentralized and distributed compute network primarily for training and inference of artificial intelligence models. The Form protocol’s novel approach to decentralized artificial intelligence leverages pipeline parallelism and data parallelism to efficiently distribute and manage computation across numerous nodes. The Form protocol is an advanced Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN). Smart contracts are deployed to manage tasks, verify work, reward contributions, and handle the dynamic allocation of data and model layers based on node capabilities. The Form network will accommodate consumer grade Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) in addition to state-of-the-art GPU clusters and leverage the principles of blockchain technology to enable a global network of efficient and cost-effective decentralized computation.
