Rachael Horwitz is the CMO of Haun Ventures, and she was the VP of Communications at Coinbase. Rachael Horowitz currently serves as the first-ever Spark Capital Marketing and Communications Partner. This role will put Horwitz at the head of the firm’s marketing and communications activities, along with community events and initiatives. Horwitz spent nearly five years at Twitter as Communications Director, and then took that experience to Facebook’s Communications department for another 15 months.

Andrew Chen
I’m a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where I focus on consumer and bottoms up SaaS. Previously, I led growth teams at Uber while advising and investing in dozens of startups in the Bay Area. I’ve written 650+ essays which have been featured and quoted in The New York Times, Fortune, Wired, and WSJ.

Haichen Shen
Haichen Shen is the co-founder of Scroll and leads the engineering team. He is also an open-source enthusiast and has contributed to several open-source projects, including zkEVM, Apache TVM, and RAF. He studied at Tsinghua Yaoban for his undergraduate degree and received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington. His research focuses on the field of low-level systems. After graduating, he worked on building machine learning systems at Amazon.

Raymond Cheng
Raymond Cheng is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Oasis Labs, focusing on bringing privacy to people's lives through distributed systems, the internet, security, and privacy. His research interests are in distributed systems and security, with a focus on cloud security and privacy. He specializes in privacy-preserving systems that allow users to better control their data and propagate digital voice and information freely throughout the world.

Ronny Conway
Ronny Conway is the Founder & General Partner at A.Capital. Prior to starting A.Capital, Ronny was one of the first Partners at Andreessen Horowitz, where he was the head of seed and early-stage investing and was involved in such high profile investments as Airbnb, Instagram, Optimizely, Pinterest, Dollar Shave Club and Twitter. Before a16z, Ronny spent six years at Google, and was one of the first employees at Google Ventures. Ronny has spent most of his life around venture capital, and received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA.

Arran Schlosberg was the VP of Engineering at Proof Holdings. Presively, he worked at HealthMatch and Google. Arran Schlosberg graduated from University of Sydney and University of Cambridge.

Ramu Arunachalam
Ramu Arunachalam is the General Partner at A.Capital. Ramu was most recently a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. A computer scientist by training, Ramu has over a decade of operating experience in product management and engineering at both startups and public companies. Prior to Andreessen Horowitz, Ramu led new product initiatives in Big Data for Aster Data (acquired by Teradata). Earlier in his career, Ramu was an engineer at VMware and part of the team that developed the industry’s first virtual switch for VMware’s flagship ESX server product line. Ramu holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (with University Honors) from Carnegie Mellon University.

Abhinav Vora
Abhinav Vora is the co-founder and CEO of Hyperline. He was previously the head of engineering at Lyft Pink and a software engineer at Meta and Microsoft. He graduated from RMIT University.

Li Jin is the co-founder of Variant Fund and the founder of Atelier Ventures. Prior to that, Li Jin was a partner at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).

Nina Suthers
Nina is the chief marketing officer at Variant where she is responsible for the brand, marketing, communications, and events. She also advises projects in our portfolio on their marketing strategy. Nina was previously a marketing partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where she helped build the crypto fund’s brand through media, events and special programs like the Crypto Startup School. Prior to her work at a16z, she was an account director at the OutCast Agency, a marketing agency specializing in comms, creative, and digital.

Stephen Tse
Stephen Tse is the Founder and CEO of Harmony. He sold one of his startups to Apple and worked on infrastructure projects at Google. Stephen has raised $18 million in seed round funding and built a top-level engineering team to develop the next generation of high-performance blockchain protocols.
