Joost van der Plas
Joost van der Plas is the managing Partner of Maven11.Joost discovered blockchain technology in 2011 and bought his first Bitcoin in early 2012. He holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration. Joost has a unique combination of eleven years of senior corporate management experience in the telecom industry (KPN, Tele2, and UPC) and more than five years of start-up experience (social media and telecom).
Balder Bomans
Balder Bomans is the chief investment officer and managing partner of Maven 11. Balder holds an MSc degree in Economics and Finance, and has a rich traditional financial markets background. Before joining Maven 11 Capital as a partner, Balder traded European cash equities for 8 years at boutique investment bank Kempen & Co, and therefore brings extensive knowledge in the fields of trading strategies and risk management.
Darius Rugys
Darius is the founder of Mentat Group and has been one of the most active investors in the blockchain field in recent years. In 2020, he joined Maven 11 as Managing Partner to further strengthen the team for the second fund. He brings significant knowledge, investment experience, and network to Maven 11.
