Joseph Eagan was the President of Polychain Capital, managing all non-investment related activities. He had previously been the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Development for Tiger Legatus, a long/short equity hedge fund. From 2008 to 2014, Joe was a Principal at Investcorp, working within the Hedge Fund Group's business development team, focusing primarily on Investcorp's seeding business. Before joining Investcorp, Joe managed risk arbitrage and special situations portfolios at Amber Capital and Naufal Capital, both event-driven hedge funds. Joe started his career at Bank of America in the media and telecom investment banking division, where he worked on M&A transactions and related debt and equity financings. Joe holds a BA in Political Science from Georgetown University in Washington DC.
