Arthur Cheong is the Founder, CEO & CIO of DeFiance Capital, one of the leading Web3 & Crypto investment firms globally that have made signature investments in the DeFi and Web3 gaming space. He is also the Council President of dYdX Foundation, a foundation set up to support and grow the dYdX protocol ecosystem by enabling communities, developers, and decentralized governance. Before founding DeFiance Capital, Arthur co-founded a crypto start-up and worked on Growth and Strategy role at a blockchain protocol focusing on scalability and sharding. Prior to his work in the Web3 space, Arthur worked in the oil trading industry under BP’s flagship trading development programme, where he worked closely with oil trading professionals in trading, shipping and operation roles.
