Katie Biber
Katie Biber is the Chief Legal Officer at Paradigm, leading the firm's legal, regulatory, compliance and policy functions. Previously, she was Chief Legal Officer of Brex, a fintech startup reimagining financial systems for growing companies. Before Brex, Katie was General Counsel of Anchorage, a digital asset bank and platform, and she has also held leadership roles as General Counsel of Thumbtack and Senior Counsel at Airbnb. Additionally, Katie serves on the boards of directors of Anchorage, Code for America and Protocol Labs. Ru Chiang is the CTO of Candy Shop. He began his career directly in the cryptocurrency industry, and has created solutions for various areas, including cryptocurrency exchanges, custodians, and web3 native applications. He oversaw the development of the custody product at Hex Trust, a licensed Hong Kong digital asset custodian, and helped to build the exchange/internal custody product at Crypto.com. He was also a participant of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park incubation program, where he developed a platform for sharing community goods to reduce food waste. Before founding Candy Shop, he headed a team that built an NFT fractionalization product, which won first place in the Serum and Wormhole hackathon.
